GUSTAV MAHLER

The music of Gustav Mahler is probably the one that touches me most profoundly. His symphonies are a part of my life, they live in me permanently.

Each one of them is a world on its own, a fabulous voyage from which one arises uplifted and transformed. I adore them all and I often listen to them in concerts.

Nevertheless, I confess having a particular affinity towards the Seventh, in which most intensely I find the scents, the atmosphere, the sentiments that I meet when walking through my dear Nature.

His Lieder as well are precious and overwhelming "concentrates" of his music. I would like very much to conduct some of them one day with my present orchestra.
