"Concerto Grosso" was written between 1992 et 1994; It is dedicated to Odile (photo), the composer's elder daughter, who was born when her father was writing the 3rd movement (number 67 in the score).
"Concerto Grosso"is a 35 minute work in three movements. It has to be played by an unusual group of musicians :
Soloists : piano, Ondes Martenot and melodic percussion quartet (glockenspiel, xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, tubular bells, gongs...)
Wind orchestra: winds, harp, string-bass(es) and percussions.
